Searching for tech employees even as unemployment rises

Companies today who need to hire are in, paradoxically, a very difficult position. They are receiving far too many resumes for their open positions which makes it much harder to "find and discover" Mr./Ms. Right candidate.

Whereas a single posting one year ago may have solicited 100 resumes, today a similar posting will bring in 500 or more resumes. Because of this huge volume, companies are wise and prudent to rely on other mechanisms. Employee referrals and social networking sites are actively being utilized. However, even in today's marketplace, competition for "exceptional" candidates with specific up-to-date skill sets is intense.

NDT is well qualified to now add value for these HARD to FIND exceptional candidates. We have personal relationships with the people we represent. Our mission is not only to find the "right" candidate with the exact technical skill set...but to add value by finding the "right" person who understands our clients' business and company culture.

2009 MassTLC Spring Meeting: "The Future of Software & the Internet unConference"

NDT Founder/President, Beverly A. Kahn, is attending the MassTLC Spring meeting today:

MassTLC Description:
"We are entering a period of profound change in the technology industry. What will the software industry and Internet look like in three, five, 10 years? And how will customer demands and business trends drive changes in software products, how they're developed, and the industry that provides them? Join fellow thought-leaders for a day of participant-generated dialogue about the future of software and the Internet. If innovation is the wildcard that will bring us out of the economic downturn, then this unConference will not only help your business, but also be a catalyst for economic recovery."
